Our Real Estate Group practices all aspects of sophisticated commercial real estate in New York City and throughout the United States, including acquisitions and sales, debt and equity financings for both lenders and borrowers (traditional mortgage financing, conduit loans, mezzanine debt and construction loans), leasing for landlords and tenants (office, retail, ground and net leases and sale-leasebacks), and partnership and joint venture agreements. We have expertise in the areas of workouts and restructurings as well as construction matters.

We act as general counsel to many cooperative and condominium buildings and managing agents, regularly prepare cooperative and condominium offering plans, and represent sponsors before the New York State Department of Law Real Estate Financing Bureau.

We act as counsel for numerous corporate clients with nationally based business models that have real estate components (franchises, supermarkets) and in connection with multi-disciplinary, multi-state transactions (stock and asset agreements, mergers and acquisitions).
