Our Litigation Group represents clients in a wide range of legal disputes including complex commercial cases, securities litigation and white-collar civil defense. Our litigators have the will and expertise to represent our clients zealously and successfully in any and all courts in the United States and before numerous governmental agencies and self-regulated organizations such as the SEC, Department of the Treasury, and national self-regulatory organizations including the NYSE, AMEX, NYMEX and NASD.

Our firm can be distinguished from many of our counterparts by the fact that we have an active trial practice. We are often retained to litigate contentious matters to the end. Each of our partners has successfully tried numerous complex litigations in federal and state courts. Our partners take a goal-oriented approach to litigation, so that, in conjunction with our clients, we have a focus and direction to our litigation from the moment of our retention. Our clients include companies ranging from those in the Fortune 100 to others that are privately held, as well as individuals involved in commercial disputes or subject to governmental investigations and prosecutions.

Nevertheless, we recognize that all-out warfare is not necessarily the right approach to all disagreements. At Eiseman Levine, our goal is to resolve our clients’ disputes as efficiently as possible with a minimum of expense. We view it as our responsibility to structure creative solutions with and for our clients. For this reason, we have developed an active arbitration/mediation practice, in which we have had remarkable success for our clients.

Our litigation and arbitration practice is national as well as international. We have recently been involved in matters in state or federal court in New York, New Jersey and Connecticut, as well as California, Florida, Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Tennessee and Texas. We have also been involved in matters in Canada, the Czech Republic, the Dominican Republic, England, Israel, Singapore, Turkey and Russia. When appropriate, we choose or recommend special counsel that complements our experience and strengths. We welcome in-house counsel as an integral part of the litigation team and solicit their involvement in theory and strategy development, fact-finding, depositions, trial preparation, and trial work.
